Brian Shannon was a recent guest on Yahoo! Finance to provide an overview of the current market environment, and to discuss the S&P 500 chart with his analysis. According to Brian, the market is in a fantastic uptrend, above all moving averages. There was a period of accumulation that broke out in May 2023 and the expectation is for the market to continue rallying towards the level of 462. He encourages traders to, “Not fight the trend despite concerns,” and he acknowledges that the trend is clearly higher. He believes many stocks have undergone distribution, decline, accumulation, and now show signs of buyers being back in control.
